Jered Weaver is by far my favorite Angel of all time. He taught me from a young age that channeling your intensity/competitiveness in baseball & using it to your advantage is possible. He was very intense & showed it with no issues, but was so so talented. I’ve always been very competitive/intense ever since I was a kid & I used to be very ashamed of it, but having him as an example on my favorite team as someone than can use it to your advantage was huge for me as I became better at softball. He also always meant business whenever he stepped on the field, & never let money deter him from being loyal to his hometown team. A straight competitor, & a pretty good pitcher too.
